Day 39 (08/16) - Lake Louise, Banff National Park

Lake Louise

Lake Louis is as stunning as I saw it the first time when I came with my parents more than 15 years ago except there are a lot more visitors this time. Today is Saturday, the big crowd and the lack of parking space all remind me that I am indeed back to the civilization. One can not see a mountain, a tree or a lake without seeing the making of human hands. I have not quite digested my Alaska experience yet and unwilling to just let it go easily. I know my life would never be the same. But, am I comfortable enough to let it unfold itself like I did when I first entering the trip weeks ago?

I spent some time walking the Lake Side Trail but did not go any further. On my way back to the town I stopped by at Moraine Lake. Circling the parking lot a few times but could not find a parking space. Maybe next time, I left.
Lake Louise is a must stop..

It is as beautiful as I can remember.

Walk the Lake Shore Trail.

I regret that I did not wear proper shoes to hike to the Tea House...
